ZüKL is able to offer funding for small linguistic projects one more time. 12,000 CHF have already been reserved for two projects that resulted from the first call 2014. Due to unforeseen circumstances, an additional 10,000 CHF are available now for the second call. Below you find further information on how to apply.

Eligibility

Two types of projects are eligible:

  • pilot studies forming the base of a planned full-fledged proposal
  • collaborative projects involving representants of at least two different institutes

At least one ZüKL member must participate in each project.

Grants

Each project can be awarded a maximum of 5000 CHF.

Application

Please send your informal application to the ZüKL coordinator. The application should contain the following information:

  • name of the project
  • names and institutes of the applicants
  • type (pilot study/collaboration)
  • project sketch (½ - 1 page)
  • for pilot studies only: explanation of the role of the project for the planned proposal
  • detailed budget

Your application is reviewed by the ZüKL's executive board. All payments shall be made upon request and directly from our account.

Deadlines

  • until 31 July 2014: submission of applications
  • until 15 August 2014: reviewing of applications, notification of acceptance
  • until 1 December 2014: time during which payments are possible

Additional conditions

After completion of the project, a final report (½ - 1 page) has to be supplied. The report should briefly summarise the results of the project.
